ED 3820 - Foundations of Special Education

The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the field of Special Education to pre-service teachersnon majors. The course examines the learning and behavioral characteristics of individuals with exceptionalities as well as the foundational approaches to educational programming for exceptional children. A field experience is required. Required for all teacher education majors.
