PY 2010 - Introduction to Psychology

This course is a prerequisite to most of the psychology courses within the major. This course investigates basic psychological principles of behavior based on the scientific method. The socio-cultural context in which humans develop is emphasized throughout. Areas of psychology to be covered include biological, cognitive, social, personality, clinical, diversity and social justice.
