MH 6520 - Multicultural Counseling Lab

Description The Lab provides an opportunity for students to apply their theoretical and clinical knowledge about counseling in multicultural contexts. Role playing, journaling, discussion and writing will focus on helping students understand how their position in the social structure, and their attitudes, beliefs and knowledge about their own and their clients’ background can facilitate or hinder the counseling process. Students will learn how to use their personal experience and knowledge to enhance the growth and development of their clients.
