SE 7008 - Culturally Responsive Teaching and Evidence-based Classroom Management Strategies in Inclusive Settings Credits: 3
Description The purpose of this course is to provide graduate candidates with the fundamental concepts of culturally responsive teaching through evidence-based practices relevant for diverse student population. Emphasis will be placed on multicultural/multilingual curricula; culturally/linguistically-responsive instruction; assessment and behavioral techniques; diversity; equity; access; and empowerment. Candidates will be equipped to create positive and effective inclusive classroom environments.
