ML 7500 - Culture and Literature for Classroom Instruction

Description This course is the culmination of the MAT in Spanish. The course will focus on two main areas: 1) Assessment, specifically Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA); and 2) culture, including the concepts of the 3 P’s (practices, products, and perspectives) and intercultural competence. The format of the course is online and it will be delivered via BlackBoard. A capstone project will be completed in which the two areas will be integrated.

Prerequisites: ED 6086. This course should be taken the semester prior to student teaching. It might be taken in conjunction with ED 6096, but not before.
