MA 6200 - Algebra

Description This course is a rigorous course in Abstract Algebra. Topics include theory of groups, rings, fields and basic number theory. Structures and problems relevant to the secondary school mathematics curriculum will be addressed.

Prerequisites: undergraduate courses in Calculus III, Linear Algebra, and Logic or Discrete Mathematics.
