ED 7301 - Literacy for Diverse Learners Credits: 3
Description This course focuses on instructional strategies and content for literacy instruction (reading and writing) that meet the academic and functional needs of diverse learners. The purpose of this course is to give students the skills to provide instruction to a diverse range of students, including those with disabilities, those who are gifted, and those who are English Language Learners, use teaching and learning strategies in the area of reading and writing, and design learning environments that promote high achievement in reading and writing.
Corequisite ED 7300 . Ten hours of fieldwork is required.
