CS 7910 - Analytics Project I Credits: 3
Description In this course, students will use the skills and knowledge gained from the previous courses and apply them to real world data to answer a data science question. The real world data and question could come from an organization such as a corporation, a non-profit or government. In this course the students will produce a project report testing their ability at the entire data science cycle and their ability to document their results and communicate these ideas clearly and effectively to both a technical and non-technical audience.
This course will conclude with a technical report which will detail the data science process. The report should include recommendations on improving the process. The report should be detailed, explaining the process and conclusion to a technical audience.
Prerequisites: CS 6110 and MA 6520 .
