Description In this course, the characteristics and behavior of a firm operating in international financial markets are explored. Multinational firms (multinationals) are offered dramatically expanded opportunities for profitable investments through their participation in international financial markets. However they are also exposed to a variety of risks derived from the particular cultural, political, regulatory, economic, financial and currency systems in which they operate. Participants in this course will be introduced to the critical importance of foreign exchange risk faced by the multinational and its relevance to traditional financial decision making.
Prerequisites: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics or equivalents.
