ED 7004 - Assessment, Evaluation & Instruction of Students with Exceptionalities

Description Candidates will acquire knowledge of the theories and practice of assessment. Emphasis will be placed on classroom assessment, evaluation and instructional practices consistent with the New York State Learning Standards. Methods will include performance assessments, instructional rubrics, student portfolios and exhibitions, and standardized tests. Teacher candidates will demonstrate how assessment will be used to improve student performance and teaching practices.
