AS 6410 - Video Production

Description In this introductory graduate course, students will learn basic skills for field video production including camera operation, sound recording, lighting and editing, and will explore techniques for using moving images and sound for effective communication. Special emphasis will be placed on employing industry standard workflows and creating high production value media. Classes will consist of hands-on workshops as well as online coursework and critiques of student work. As a final project, students will work independently to plan and execute a short promo video, PSA or documentary profile.
